African Road Transportation Company Review (Part 2)

This is the second part of a continued review of Road Transportation Companies in Africa. The first part reviewed ABC Transport and this part of the review will be about God Is Good Motors (GIGM). Like we have said in the first review, road transportation in West Africa is very important, the major reason for this is the fact that just one passport is required to travel in all west African countries: the ECOWAS passport; if you have this Passport you don’t have to travel by air, you may go wherever you want in West Africa by road. A lot of people are beginning to take advantage of this opportunity; hence, the need for effective road transportation companies.
In this series we’ll be review major road transportation companies in Nigeria and West Africa; we’ll try to review how they perform using the criteria below:
Management, Customer Care, Technology, Terminals, Booking Fares
This part one of the article observes God is Good Motors, let us see how they perform using the above listed criteria

Management
According to their website, God is Good Motors (GIGM) is a member of the GIG Group and prides itself as the most technologically driven road transport company in Nigeria.
The Headquartered of the transportation company is in Benin-City Edo state, and they have been in operation since 1998. Over the years, we have improved tremendously from what they were to what they are now.
A landmark for GIGM was their change of name from God is Good Motors to GIGM and the commissioning of a Modern Bus terminal at Jibowu Lagos state, Nigeria.
GIGM.com operates in over 10 states in Nigeria cutting across five of the six geo political zones of the country. It is not known if they operate outside of Nigeria.
Customer Care:
God is Good Motors offer Priority Services, they have a dedicated line for complaints and customer care, customer can also reach them by mail.

Technology
GIGM are doing very well when it comes to technology, they have a mobile app through which one can book online. The steps for God is Good Motors Online Booking are quite simple, just follow the instruction on the app and you are done. Another technological advantage GIGM has is their website; you can easily book for Buses, you can check your fare and pay fees; you can do most of the things you would be going to their park to do on their website. Speed limiter: They have installed speed limiting devices on all their buses thereby reducing crashes; they also have a way of tracking their buses to know their exact location.

Terminals and fares:
They have their terminals in almost all cities in Nigeria. GIGM fares are among the most competitive in the industry, just choose your destination and you’ll see the price right beside the route.
This is our review of GIGM, if you’re traveling within Nigeria, you may want to consider going with God is Good Motors. This first part of this series reviewed abc transport, please check it out.
