Infinix Note 5 Full Features

Design: Infinix Note 5 is a well crafted smart phone that has been designed to look amazing and comfortable in your hands. The home button sported in the past Note series has been completely removed to create room for the FHD plus display. The only visible features on the top of the display are the 16MP camera, flash LED, earpiece speaker and the notification Led. They are all horizontally arranged. The back panel is shiny and glossy and it’s made of plastic. The fingerprint scanner sensor is unnoticeable on it. Also, noticeable on the back panel is the 12MP camera placed on the top left corner alongside a dual flash and the fingerprint sensor sitting on the center. The device has a glass finish which is the way to go for hi-tech smart phones.

Display: The Note 5 comes with a large 6 inches FHD plus display. The smart phone features a 2.5D glass with an amazing screen to body ratio and curved corners. The 18:9 aspect ratio boasts of 480PPI density, this offers an exciting view. The Note 5 screen is not protected by a corning gorilla glass however a screen guard has been included in the box. One noticeable thing is that the virtual back navigation button is situated on the left and not on the right as with other Infinix devices.

Software: The smart phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo. The device is based on Andriod One not XOS. It is powered by octa-core Helio P23 chipset clocked at 2.0GHz which makes processing of information on the device very fast.

Battery: The smart phone is powered by a battery capacity of 4500mAh, which can last up to 3 days according to Infinix mobility. I doubt it will last for complete 24 hours with heavy usage over the 4G network. The battery optimizes when the device is in your pocket or a purse, this helps to increase battery life. The 4500mAh battery on the device is totally above the average battery capacity.

Storage: The Note 5 comes in two variants; a variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM and the other variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM. Activities you carry out on your phone play a major role in the decision of which variant you should go for. The memory storage can be expanded up to 256GB via a memory card.

Camera: The camera of the Infinix Note 5 is a selling point of the device. The device comes with a 12MP rear camera with 1.25um for amazing and beautiful pictures in lowlight conditions without flash. Also attached is a dual LED flash for brighter images when the need arises and usual settings like professional mode and portrait selfie mode are included on the primary shooter only. Selfie lovers are very lucky because the selfie camera is greater at 16MP with a LED flash attached to it.

Color: The Infinix Note 5 comes in three different beautiful colors and they are Ice Blue, Milan Black and Berlin Gray.

Connectivity: The Note 5 comes with GPRS, EDGE, 3G and 4G network. It also comes with Wi-Fi, GPS and USB – Micro 5-pin USB, OTG and Bluetooth.

Android One: The device comes with Android Orea OS based on Android One. According to Google, Android One comes with essential apps meaning that it has no bloat ware (unessential apps that are often found on new phones). Note that users will have to download most apps from Playstore by themselves. Android One offers unlimited photo storage from Google photos, better security with regular Google certified updates and artificial intelligence (AI).
